MY PASSION TO COACH
- Provides 1:1 executive coaching, group coaching and team coaching to CEOs and C-level leaders in companies valued at over $1T, to large global nonprofit organizations, and to cabinet-level government agencies.
- In addition to his U.S. clients, coaches leaders in Brazil, Denmark, Finland, India, Ireland, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Turkey, Uganda and the United Kingdom.
MY CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Designs and delivers coaching for leaders – from aspiring supervisors to senior executives – around making well-informed decisions, building high-performing teams, confronting difficult conflicts, launching new initiatives, navigating change, receiving sought-after promotions, and finding balance between their professional and personal lives.
- Wrote the Federal Coach column for The Washington Post, read by an audience of more than 15,000 weekly over its eight-year run.
- As a consultant, led teams developing innovative solutions at dozens of agencies, including the EPA, the Department of Justice, the Patent and Trademark Office and the Department of Defense.
- Designed program evaluations and wrote reports about improving government performance and results for Congress while working at the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Co-founded the non-partisan, non-profit Partnership for Public Service and served as its Vice President for Leadership and Innovation where I was responsible for $10M in revenue annually.
- Created a leadership institute offering more than 30 programs to 5,000 leaders annually, equipping them to deliver results by building strong teams, driving innovation and working across boundaries.
- As a senior consultant in the private sector and as an analyst in our federal government, examined strategies for improving government performance and results — saving billions of taxpayer dollars in the process.
- Served as a staffer in the Office of U.S. Senator John Glenn and the White House where I researched defense, veterans affairs, intelligence, pensions, small business and immigration policies to advise senior policymakers.
