Rachel is a champion for brave and authentic leadership. She leverages her 30 years of lived professional experience in leadership positions and large, complex systems to inform her engagements and support her clients. Rachel’s clients often say she is a “soft place to land.” She believes in coaching the whole person -body, mind, spirit- towards brave futures that align with her client’s values and goals. Clients walk away from their engagements feeling seen and heard, developing a clear sense of what matters to them and the leader they want to be. Rachel’s clients appreciate her relatable experience, authenticity, and warmth, helping them identify what matters to them, where they would like to go, and exploring the delta of current state in a non-judgmental partnership.
MY PASSION TO COACH

- Integral member of the Women’s Impact Alliance to provide pro-bono coaching and leadership development to female social impact leaders across the globe.

- Designed and implemented highly effective leadership and management development programs for nationwide implementation in large organizations
- Rachel coaches and facilitates individual leaders and groups in the U.S, as well as over 70 countries, including Rwanda, Kenya, South Africa, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Canada and France.
- As a former Federal leader, Rachel is passionate about supporting Federal leaders manage and lead through complexity. She has worked with clients at all Federal-level Cabinet agencies, and has over 13 years of direct Federal Service.
- Rachel’s leadership experience occurred in agencies during and following periods of great national upheaval, to include 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis, and the subsequent subprime mortgage crisis.
MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Leadership roles in both civilian national security organizations as well as financial regulators, both at times of significant national change affecting their respective portfolios
- Served in a variety of interim leadership roles to cover operational needs such as Chief of Staff, Acting President of a multi-million dollar professional services firm, and Lead Project Manager over multi-million dollar projects
- Director and Assistant Director roles of a department within a large government agency. Key member of building a newly formed organization merging different cultures and employee groups in high visibility mission. Results included audit remediation, recruitment and retainment of key personnel, standardization and documentation of policies and procedures, all with an emphasis on building organizational culture and achieving results.
- In 2019, Rachel was competitively selected to be trained by Dr. Brené Brown as a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator (CDTLF). Rachel is passionate in working with individuals and organizations to help them build their courage-building skills based on the Dare to Lead™ framework.
