A dynamic coach, organizational consultant, facilitator, and coach, Dr. Santalynda draws on more than 25 years experience as an organizational development and diversity consultant to help individuals, teams and organizations in engaging, expanding and transforming to their optimal best. Her broad range of competencies across senior levels and her fluency in Spanish and bi-cultural status have naturally led her to successfully facilitate and train on leadership and diversity/inclusion in Brazil, Venezuela, and Mexico.
Prior to launching SM Consulting in 1993, Santalynda held several internal consulting positions, including Director of Staff, Management and Team Development for Stanford Medical Center for fourteen years, Manager of Training & Development for Avantek/Hewlett-Packard, Human Resources and College Relations Specialist at Bell Laboratories and Counselor and Academic Advisor at Rutgers University.

- Santalynda enjoys coaching across cultures and generations, sharing defining moments that reveal our patterns as a way to move beyond self, or other imposed barriers, to foster successful beginnings and transitions. She has come to recognize that successful people, especially the underrepresented, find creative ways to open doors that might not otherwise be open for them. Her lively and inspirational presentation style makes her a highly sought conference keynoter and panelist. With her upbeat personality, clients find her easy to speak to and they trust and have confidence in her approach due to her strong business acumen.

- She proudly served on the Board of Academic Advancement of Youth for John Hopkins University.
- Held several mid and senior level management positions, at Stanford Hospital and Medical Center, Avantek/Hewlett-Packard, Bell Laboratories, and Rutgers University where she received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology.
- She is a former faculty member at the Summer Institute of Intercultural Communication (SIIC), co-teaching a three-day course on the foundations of intercultural communications.
- She is the co-founder of LatinaVIDA, a unique learning platform designed by Latinas with senior executive experience.
